AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY: 2011

EDWARD MOONEY, JR.

BIOGRAPHY:

Edward was born in Massachusetts and raised in Tustin, California. After graduating from Montana State University and the University of California at Riverside he worked as a systems programmer; he became a high school teacher in 1988. He’s still trying to decide if computers or teenagers are more “user friendly”.

Edward currently lives in California. He's interested in maps, travel, flag collection, reading, writing, church activities, computers, web page development and camping (not to mention chocolate).

Edward writes a weekly column dealing with education, family issues and interpersonal relationships. His work can be read in the Antelope Valley Press, a full service newspaper serving the High Desert communities in northeastern Los Angeles County, California. Two of the volumes of Edward’s “Stone Man Trilogy” are being published by Sourcebooks; the third is scheduled for release in 2012. 

Fast Carrier Pictures is scheduled to produce the film based on “The Pearls of the Stone Man”. Edward wrote the script adaptation.
