"Love's gold shines through the darkest emptiness."
This flag represents a special day in my life which was both a high point (yellow) and a low point (navy blue) - I believe God's presence and love touched my heart after a tragedy - on Christmas Day, 1985. The cross design stems from my Christian faith and from where I first "discovered" flags as a child - Solvang, California (Danish Capital of America). It was there that my mother bought my first flag - Denmark - in 1964. I still have it.
