A simple Christian's flag.
CONSTRUCTION - Scandinavian cross, 4-1-2-1-8 horizontal by 4-1-2-1-4 vertical. Blue and yellow.

SYMBOLISM - This flag represents one special day in my life which was both a high point (yellow) and a low point (blue) - I believe God's presence and love touched my heart just after the loss of my wife. Christmas Day, 1985.

HISTORY - The Scandinavian design stems from my Christian faith and from where I first "discovered" flags when I was a small child - Solvang, California (Danish Capital of America). It was there that my mother bought my first flag (Denmark) in 1964. I still have it. The residents fly Scandinavian flags all over town; I still visit every year or two.

Adopted March 19, 1998.
