The King's signature, as well as the main title words, were written in gold ink.
The King signed the document in two places: on the first page and on the last page. He did this so that all may see his acceptance when viewing the main title page.
The large seal was made specifically for this signature, and was destroyed immediately after seven copies (one copy for each of the four Clans, one for the King, one for the Church,and this one, for the Government) of the document were made.
